Loss

This past week we had a family tragedy. My little nephew, Charlie, died in an accident. It has been very hard. We know that he will be a part of our family forever ... but there is still the loss and the heartache you feel. It is hard to believe it is all real. We are so thankful that he was a part of our family and for the time we had with him.

When you are going through something this hard ... it is always so comforting to be surrounded by friends and family ... and we were. All the love and support and prayers offered and that continue to be offered are appreciated.

Charlie never did anything small ... he was always so full of life and energy. From the viewing, to the Funeral and the Procession ... the lives an 8 year old boy has touched in such a short amount of time is humbling. I am thankful for the memories ... his hugs, his smiles and his love and giving nature ... he will be missed.
