We are really trying to teach the concept of sharing. Some days go better than others (as with everything).
Cereal
Dominic wanted some cereal in a cup. When I gave him some he asked for some for his brother too and proceeded to take the other cup to his brother. Of course, later on He is dumping the contents of his brother's cup into his own. Other times you find Jordan finishing off Dominic's bar or drink. I guess this does qualify as sharing ... It just may not be voluntary.
Chewies
Most of the time Dominic does really well with sharing. He looks out for his siblings and tries to take care of them too. I have found his limit though. I was giving him his morning vitamin and he wanted to give one to Sissy and Jordan (never been a problem before) so I gave them to him to do just that. Evidently the chewy never made it to either one of them. He decided he would much rather eat them himself.
Birthdays
This is a fun one. Dominic had his 2nd birthday in January. His word for the day was "mine" and "no" when it came to his new toys. Jordan just didn't understand why he didn't get toys too and why he didn't get to blow out candles. We tried to explain but he just didn't understand. Of course, Dominic eased up on the "no" and "mine" after a day or too. We will have more fun when it is Jordan's birthday and Dominic doesn't get anything.
