I just can't win

The discussion started about names and Nic was asking if they were in the scriptures.  Benjamin? Yes. Noah? Yes. Samuel? Yes. The river Jordan is too.  Nic promptly asked is Dominic?  Nope.  And the tears started to fall.  I tried to tell him his middle name was but that did no good.  Grandpa talked to him and told him his name wasn't in the scriptures either and asked Nic if they should go kick rocks.  Nic immediately smiled and headed to the door.  Jordan perked up even more and asked if  he could come kick rocks too and was told no because his name is in the scriptures.  And the tears started.
