The fun never ends ... And I am only doing my fair share in contributing to it!

This morning as I was going to take Jordan to school I realized I couldn't find my car keys and started tearing my purse and house apart looking for them. I called Mike, who had thankfully taken Constance to the bus stop and was on his way to Murfreesboro to mow a school and then head out to the farm to help dad, to see if he had seen them anywhere. He hadn't -- I then remembered yesterday afternoon going out to move my van so Mike could mow the back yard. When I got out I had grabbed the DVDs that were left in the door, when Mike was coming up to the gate with the mower. I quickly set everything in the seat, shut the door and went to the open the gate. I was standing at the back gate to open it again when Mike was done when my mom pulled in and needed to go in the house. Needless to say I got a little sidetracked and completely forgot about my keys and that evening Mike, being the good husband he is locked the doors for me. I went outside and sure enough my keys and the DVDs were still sitting in the seat. When I told Mike he told me he was on his way back -- thankfully he hadn't started mowing yet. In the mean time, Jordan looked at me and said "well, I guess I won't be going to school today". I looked at him and told him yes he would that daddy was on his way. Jordan wasn't even late -- he was close -- only minutes to spare.

I told Mike that technically I didn't lock my keys in the van -- he did. He just laughed at me and shook his head and told me I was the one who left them in the seat.

Jordan makes me laugh -- we were tucking him and Nic in the other night and the only light was the touch lamp on low. So it was fairly dark. Jordan looked up at me as I was sitting on his bed and said "mom, can you see me?" Me: "Yes Jordan I can see you" Jordan: "Am I smiling or not?" I just started laughing.

One of the mornings I was dropping Jordan off at school and he came to give me a kiss, he had to look around to make sure no one was looking and then kissed me on my arm so no one could see.

Mike had taken several shifts off to help my brother but wasn't needed ... He still took the time off and during his vacation he didn't shave.  It got to the point his whiskers weren't scratchy anymore ... One night while Mike was "whiskering" Jordan, Jordan told Mike his "slivers" were broken because they were soft.  Mike shaved that night.

A few weeks ago I took Jordan to Walmart to spend some money Grandma Cook had sent him.  After walking up and down the aisle pointing at every toy and asking if he could buy it and finally making a decision 30 minutes later on what he wants -- Jordan says "I didn't know Walmart had all that ... Is this a different Walmart than we usually go to?"  I told him "Nope, I just avoid the toy section when am with you kids."
