Fall fun

After helping daddy blow leaves into a pile in the back yard ... Nic had to show me something cool

Bless Jordan's heart he stepped into the leaves bit that was his limit ... He stood there for a sec then quickly got out.  He is still not thrilled with leaves but at least he doesn't freak out like he used to.

Nashville Temple

For the past 6 years my parents have served in he Nashville Tn Temple Presidency ... We have had some amazing privileges and experiences because of it and have been so thankful for the blessing it has been for our kids as well.  

One of the blessings was having my dad be the one who was able to seal Jordan to our family as his first sealing.  My kids have been able to help plant bulbs in the spring and help take grandma to the temple or help pick her up.  They have also been able to see some really neat things I hope will stick with them for a very long time.

It's funny ... To my kids it's grandma's and grandpa's temple.   They have served there almost Jordan's entire life and all of Nic's ...

I love my boys

Nothing like a yell from the kids bathroom telling me there is water all over the floor.  I go to see what is wrong and see my boys standing there at a complete loss as to what to do and seeing water coming out onto my hardwoods.  I tell them to grab a towel and my youngest grabs a washcloth.  I quickly grab the towels off the hook and get them on the floor and then see the problem ... 

 When I tried to use the plunger I discovered it wouldn't work ... Jordan told me he didn't know how mug toilet paper to use ... I guess he figured he would be safe with the entire roll and then kept flushing hoping it would go down.

Definitely wasn't expecting that

Nic was happy and smiling until he saw his picture after daddy was done cutting his hair -- then he burst into tears and begged not to go to church because he didn't like his hair ... It doesn't help that they were practicing he primary program and he didn't want to do his speaking part.  Last week he cried when they tried to get him to.

I guess that would be a NO!

Mike decided to give Jordan a haircut and have a little fun in the process.  Jordan wasn't impressed and mike finished cutting it the rest of the way.
